When Vincent, an unlucky folk artist in his thirties, discovers he has been diagnosed with tongue cancer, he bursts into laughter! Confident that he'll quickly move past this, Vincent agrees to undergo rigorous treatments that impact his independence, leading him to accept help from Renée, a scatterbrained chatterbox volunteer driver, and Mike, a humorously tactless home care nurse. Vincent's cheerfulness wanes, and doubt creeps in, but a genuine friendship forms within this unusual trio, and through them, Vincent discovers a deeper meaning in his life.
