Dimitri Logothetis moved to America with his parents at the age of six. He was raised in Los Angeles, attended high school in the South Bay where he played football, and pursued higher education at Loyola Marymount, earning a Master's in Film and Television. At Loyola, Dimitri produced and directed a short film titled "Call Me Kaiser," which won seven national and international film festivals. From his early career as a director and writer of acclaimed films, television shows, and documentaries, Dimitri has excelled across genres, including dramas, thrillers, and comedies. Beyond his artistic work, Dimitri Logothetis has led three companies, managed hundreds of employees globally, and secured over 150 million dollars in production financing. In 2011, he became the President of Motion Pictures for Kings Road Entertainment, known for producing "Kickboxer," "The Big Easy," and "The Best of Times." Dimitri is developing several remakes from the Kings library. In 2020, he launched a new science fiction martial arts film franchise, "Jiu Jitsu," based on a comic book. The film featured Nicholas Cage, Alain Moussi, Tony Jaa, and Marie Avgeropoulos, and ranked #4 on Netflix in the US during its release week. Dimitri also revitalized the iconic "Kickboxer" film franchise, writing, producing, and directing two new installments. He brought back Jean Claude-Van Damme, along with Christopher Lambert from "Highlander," and included popular world champion MMA fighters like George St. Pierre and Fabricio Werdum, as well as Mike Tyson. "Kickboxer Retaliation" received a 92% critic score and 84% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Dimitri is not only an award-winning filmmaker but has also achieved significant career milestones, such as winning the Monaco Film Festival in 2013 for his documentary "Momo, The Sam Giancana Story," and serving as Executive Producer/Showrunner for two Warner Brothers TV series. He also developed and executive produced Stephen King's "Sleepwalkers" for Columbia Pictures, directed four TV pilots, and created "Champions Forever with Muhammad Ali," one of the highest-selling documentaries of all time. Logothetis recently completed production on "Gunner," an action film starring Morgan Freeman and Luke Hemsworth. Next year, Dimitri plans to shoot his latest features, "Kickboxer: Armageddon," the final chapter in a reboot trilogy of the "Kickboxer" action franchise, and "Flying Shadow," an action thriller.
