The age-old question, "why did the chicken cross the road?", can finally be put to rest. The concept for this animated short, started back in 2009 with the audio recording of Chris John Georgenes's daughter who was only 6 years old at the time. The audio files sat in a folder on a hard drive in a desk drawer for the next 13 years before it was rediscovered in 2022. The animation director promised himself that he would finally finish what he started and create the short animation called "Book". The project is a finalist of the annual screening of Montreal Independent Film Festival at the Cinema du Parc.
