Within a week is Canadian indie feature about Roberto Gutierrez Romano, a successful author…or at least he was. He experienced some modest success with his "fantasy" books, but in the last three years his works have left something to be desired. Now, in the midst of the pandemic, he finds himself at home alone and jobless. Meanwhile, his editor Michael receives a call from Edith, an old acquaintance and, also the head of a big film studio that's looking for a writer to create a fresh new romcom screeplay.
Knowing that Roberto has come up short as of late, Michael tries to propose other people for the job, but the studio insists on Roberto. Roberto has one week to write and deliver an original screenplay idea to 'wow' the people at NetView, but things may become complicated.
Roberto Zorfini, the director of the film is an Italian filmmaker, passionate about cinema since he was a kid. He graduated from the Istituto di Stato per la Cinematografia e la Televisione Roberto Rossellini (National Film School in Rome), and began his career at 17.
