Sometimes, kidnapping seems like the best solution. The gentle academic Phillip Rayburn has unlocked the secret to time travel but needs a reliable partner to work and reside on site. Enter Nancy Wolfe, brilliant, down on her luck, and grumpy, whom Phillip kidnaps to prevent his work from being exposed and to avoid lengthy explanations. A humorous and poignant friendship unfolds as Nancy initially views time travel as her adversary, but later as a form of redemption.



Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, filmmaker Alycia Ripley graduated from Syracuse University and earned her M.F.A in Creative Writing from New York University. Her debut novel, 'Traveling With An Eggplant,' was published in 2006, followed by 'The Final Alice' in 2011, 'Alice's Army' in 2014, and her memoir, 'Wind Over Tide,' in 2018. Ripley studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, performing in plays on various New York stages, including her own adapted work.




Her writing and acting have contributed to various film and television projects, and she appears in 'A Quiet Place 2' and several streaming releases. Recently, she advanced her filmmaking career by writing and directing three short films, “Watercolors,” “Mary Lou Attends a Wedding,” and “Midnight Postman," all within a year. Ripley is also a frequent magazine contributor and content creator for clients across different industries. The concept of time travel is a passion for Alycia Ripley. She has long wished to alter or improve her present circumstances through different past decisions. She aimed to create a time travel movie where viewers would spend less time grappling with logistics and more time feeling they, too, could achieve it.
