Abraham, 26 years old, is a chess champion about to participate in the most important tournament of his career. Highly disciplined and logical, he leads his life with almost military rigor to maximize his performance. However, since the beginning of his training for the tournament, mysterious flashes have started to emerge in his consciousness, urging him to go against his well-established rationality.
Born in the city of Quebec, Raphael developed a passion for filmmaking through travel. He participated in his first professional documentary with CBC by crossing Eastern Canada on the Bark Europa, a large sailboat, accompanied by a team of reporters as part of RDV2017. He then flew to Central America where he directed his first documentary, Ceiba.
He then pursued fiction training in the city of Montreal from 2018 to 2020 at Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, and has just produced his first short film between 2021 and 2023.
