Samir is 19 years old and from South Sudan. He reached Hamburg two years ago. Last winter, falling temperatures forced him into prostitution. But the search for a way out results to be more difficult than expected. Exit is a short narrative film directed by Tim Herzhauser.
Tim was born in Mainz, Germany, in 1990. After high school he travelled to more than 50 countries and lived in Mexico for some years. In 2015 he returned to Germany to start studying Motion Pictures at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz. He has been working in the film industry since 2017 and will finish his studies in 2023.
